Customer Review: Get the Oxo Spinner

The yo-yo like string that causes the unit to spin is not that user friendly and my string broke after only 3 or 4 uses. I am returning it and getting the Oxo spinner; I have two friends with those and they love them. I got this one because it claims to wash the produce too. I didn't think the washing feature was that great; it would be easier to use a colander and wash with the kitchen sink sprayer.
Description of Emsa Salad Shower Plus Salad Washer & Dryer
The Salad Shower Plus is a washing machine for lettuce. With its special flow-through design, water runs through the spinner lid and out the bottom. Pull the cord and the basket revolves in both directions, rinsing away the dirt and taking away the drudgery of washing lettuce and other leafy greens. The white plastic basket removes from the clear spinner bowl to double as a colander for general washing.
